Having such varied flowers is prefect for all insects especially Bees, Moths and Butterflys.
An early morning and a sea of wildflowers, these wonderful flowers are a mix of seeds we planted last year summer, below Pant Llwyd garden. We have many different types of wildflowers growing in the fields, hedgerows and woodlands that surround Pant Llwyd.
Ox eye daisies have been amazing, flowering for serval weeks now. Yarrow and Mallow are defiantly a great colour combintain. We counted over twenty differnernt wild flowers growing in this patch.
We planted a mix of native whips in February for a new hedgerow, linking the old Garden wall to an older original hedgerow.
Really pleased to see this hazel growing well. We also have planted 1,200 whips in old hedgerows, re hedged and fenced. Making prefect wildlife corridors for our Hares and birds, just below the garden.
